The two people we are missing the most on small screen are Baaghi star Osman Khalid Butt and Sohai Ali Abro. Sohai was last seen in Adhi Gawahi by Fahim Burney on Hum Tv which starred Azfar Rehman and Ali Josh. While, Osman was seen in Baaghi opposite Saba Qamar. Now, there is a good news that the two will be seen together in an upcoming drama serial Surkh Chandni.
The drama revolves around an acid attack victim. It will be directed by Shahid Shafaat and produced by Sana Shahnawaz and Samina Humayun Saeed, Surkh Chandni features Osman Khalid Butt and Sohai Ali Abro in lead roles while the script has been written by Asma Nabeel. Asma Nabeel said, “This project will surely move the audience. I have put my heart and soul in the story. While writing a lot of scenes I was crying and after watching some footage I cried once again.” While the producer Sana Shahnawaz said, “Acid attacks or rather the troubles of acid attack victims haven’t been highlighted enough which we thought was much needed. They aren’t just limited to Pakistan; this is pretty much a global issue.”
It also stars Hasan Ahmed, Asad Siddiqui, Huma Nawab and Mansha Pasha. We’re excited to see something new with so many great actors coming together.
