Geo TV’s famous drama serial Tere Bin Is known for grabbing unprecedented global success and fame. The drama was a Geo Television presentation which was produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The drama was directed by Siraj Ul Haq and it was written by Nooran Makhdoom. Asad Qureshi and Abdullah Kadwani were the producers of the grand show. Pakistani dramas keep getting into ridiculous trends and if one gets ratings, all the others are seen doing a similar thing. Director Misbah Khalid is a veteran in the industry and she was a guest on Samaa TV at Madeha Naqvi’s morning show. She criticized the latest trends in dramas that are not making any sense. She pin pointed how all our dramas have daughters who are thrown out of the house in the middle of the night and no one is questioning this absurdity.

Zard Patton Ka Bunn is a drama made with collaboration with Kashf Foundation. It stars Sajal Aly and Hamza Sohail in the lead and the drama is dealing with many issues of our society including overpopulation, lack of medical facilities and girls education. The latest episode showed how determined Meenu is. From getting a free cycle to making schemes for converting it into a motorcycle, she does everything. Meenu also tries to rescue her pregnant friend and that track shows how bad medical facilities are in our rural areas. The T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 is taking place in the USA this year and Pakistan is also playing and representing their side. The start of this world cup has been sad for the Pakistani side as too much political involvement, wrong appointments in administration and wrong team selections have destroyed the morale of the players while fans do not have too many hopes either. Yesterday marked the biggest match of the tournament i.e. India vs Pakistan that was played in New York.

The whole team played in the worst way possible. Imad Wasim and Amir who were given extraordinary support from the board, Iftikhar who was dubbed as the finisher, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan who “used” to be the golden openers all failed in their respective fields. The only man who stood and fought till the end was Naseem Shah who not only bowled his best spell but also was the most impactful player with the bat. He was therefore in tears when the team was humiliated once again on an international platform. Indian players also came forward and appreciated him.

Famous PTV news caster Taskeen Zafar passed away. Taskeen Zafar was a prominent Pakistani Urdu news caster and Radio announcer. Nida Yasir is going to perform Hajj this year. She has been praying for this moment for some time now and talked about it in several shows. She is finally getting the opportunity and she along with husband Yasir Nawaz are embarking on thier Hajj journey during Hajj 2024.

She did a show before she left for Madinah where she is going first and she asked for forgiveness from everyone who may have thought that she had caused them pain or wronged them in some way. Asad Siddiqui is a big star in the drama industry and comes from a very talented family. He has done diverse characters in his career and he has made a name for himself separately from his influential relatives. He can do both positive and negative with perfection and proves his mettle with every other project.

Asad has just gone through the emotional roller coaster of his life in the past few months. He lost his beloved father which was a shock for the family. He is very close with his father and his dad always motivated him, praised his work and was a true inspiration for him. Losing him was a big shock for the actor and he is still reeling in that loss.

He also shared that within a month or so after losing his dad, he was blessed with his first baby, a daughter and that is the biggest happiness of his life. Thus he went through two back to back huge changes in his life.

Asad Siddiqui was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show and shared a wish that will never be fulfilled now. He said that he wanted his father to meet his daughter which will never happen now. He wanted him to be there when they will shift to their new house but he will not be here to witness that. He said that these things will happen on their time but his father will not be there.
