Hajj is an obligatory act of worship for Muslims and one of the five pillars of Islam. This act of worship is performed on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. It is an annual pilgrimage to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is obligatory upon every Muslim who is financially and physically capable of performing it. Muslims are required to perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime. During this pilgrimage, people from all backgrounds gather in Makkah, standing together before Allah (SWT) in unity and humility. Pilgrims also sacrifice animals after completing the Hajj rituals.
