Public Accuses Fahad Mustafa of Begging For Film

His drama Main Abdul Qadir Hoon proved to be a game changer for him. The actor often speaks about the film industry and the problems that are currently affecting the industry. He is also a staunch believer of supporting the local cinema.

In his recent interviews, he talked about his upcoming film Quaid E Azam Zindabad. In interview with Independent Urdu, he promoted his film and said that it is a must watch. He urged his fans to watch movie for him. He said, “If you love me then you should spend 1200 on me”. He narrated popular politicians’ line “Khata Hoon to Lagata Bhi Hoo (even if I eat, I also spend money too) ” . The actor persuaded the audience about his movie but his appeal ignited public criticism.Fans said that he’s literally begging for his film. They said that there has been a lot of inflation so they will go if he will sponsor them. They said that situation in country is bad and there has been a lot of free political drama so they don’t want to watch any film. They said that he’s been too much confident that public loves him. One fan said, “If we spend 1200 on 2 months net package, we can see better entertainment on the net rather than one movie”. Fans trolled the actor for promoting his film like this.
