Qandeel Baloch Murdered

Qandeel Baloch was murdered in Multan today. She was found strangulated in the house she was living in. The police is investigating the murder but until now her brother is being named as the person behind her killing.

Qandeel Baloch has been in the news a lot in the past few months. She gained much more attention than before when her controversial meeting with Maulana Qavi spread like a wildfire. Qandeel Baloch said after a few weeks of this incident that she was getting threatening calls. In a special Press Conference she requested the government to provide her with security because she was getting threats from people.

In the last week when Qandeel’s past was unveiled she once again said that the person she was married to and his family were very dangerous people when she talked to the media. Her husband said that Qandeel Baloch wasn’t doing all this alone but there was a big group behind her who was assisting her.
The police is looking into the murders and trying to find clues.
