Qurat Ul Ain Iqrar is a former ARY News anchor and journalist who joined the electronic media in 2008 or 2009. She graduated in Urdu literature and served as a news anchor for many years. She later left the profession to look after her home and son Pehlaaj. Nowadays, Qurat Ul Ain Iqrar is teaching at Lahore Grammar School. She often appears in Farah Iqrar and Aroosa Iqrar’s vlogs and podcasts.
Recently, Qurat Ul Ain Iqrar appeared in Farah Yousaf’s vlog, in which she opened up about her first meeting with Iqrar Ul Hassan.
Talking about it, Qurat Ul Ain Iqrar said, “I met Iqrar Ul Hassan at school. He was a debate coach, and I was an Urdu teacher, so we used to have frequent interactions regarding debates. Whenever we took students to competitions, one teacher would always accompany them, so we usually traveled together. My first meeting with Iqrar was at LGS. He has been with me since my teaching days, and after that, he became a part of my life, and we are still together. We had the same interests, including Urdu literature, poetry, and our profession.”
She further added that when they joined ARY News, no one knew that they were a married couple but eventually everyone knew because they were living at the same apartment in Dubai.
