Dar-e-Nijaat is a hit ARY Digital drama series directed by Saqib Khan, written by Umera Ahmed, and produced by the 3’S Entertainment production house. The drama has gained massive popularity due to its complex characters and hooking storyline. The plot follows the journeys of love and heartbreak surrounding Zaryab, Zamil, Hamna, and Abu Bakar. Romaisa Khan portrays Hamna, a character who marries Zamil but later regrets her decision and begins developing a soft corner for Abu Bakar.
Recently, Romaisa Khan appeared as a guest on FUCHSIA Magazine Pakistan’s YouTube show hosted by Rabia Mughni, where she defended Hamna’s character.
Romaisa Khan said, “I can’t tell you much about the story but I think Hamna loved Abubakar. Even if it wasn’t love, she had an infatuation for him. Also, now she thinks more about Abubakar because of the guy she is married to, and because Abubakar treated Hamna well despite her bad behavior toward him. One thing I want to say is that I love Hamna, although people hate her. For instance, fans are saying, ‘Why is Hamna messaging Abubakar?’ I mean, Hamna will message Abubakar because he was the one who took her to the Madrasaa. Who else will she text? Also, no one is talking to Hamna at home—her husband is not talking to her. I am a full Hamna supporter. Didn’t Zaryab text Zamil to divorce Hamna? I fought with people defending Hamna for texting Abubakar. I am very touchy about Hamna. People will regret bashing Hamna as the story unfolds. Hamna’s family is not supportive of her; she is from interior Sindh and she is bold despite being from a tribe. So, Hamna is the one who is seeking protection outside her tribe.
