Nadia Khan is a renowned Pakistani television host and actress who is currently facing strong criticism from the entertainment industry after she openly called out a scene from Hum TV’s drama Zanjeerain. In the sequence, Sajal Aly’s character was rescuing herself by running while softly saying, “Koi Hai.” Nadia Khan mimicked the scene and remarked that it demanded a much more powerful performance. According to her, the character should have been running while shouting “Save me!” instead of casually saying “Koi Hai” in a low tone.
Nadia Khan is facing both praise and criticism for fearlessly pointing out a logical flaw, loyal Zanjeerain viewers, Sajal Aly’s fans, and several artists took offense of her statement while other said she just pointed out the flaw not Sajal. Saima Akram Chaudhry, Maya Ali, and now Saba Faisal have publicly expressed their displeasure with Nadia Khan.
Saba Faisal commented on an Instagram post criticizing Nadia Khan, writing, “Nadia Khan, you aren’t sitting in your living room; you are on social media. Why do you speak like this against your fellow artists? Who are you to criticize the one and only Sajal Aly? / Nadia aap apnay ghar kay living room main nahi balkay social media per baithi hain. Q aap apnay artiston ko is tarha bolti hain?”
However, Saba Faisal’s criticism backfired as Nadia Khan’s supporters rushed to defend her. One user wrote, “Saba Faisal is upset with Nadia because Nadia isn’t her bahu and neither is she under her control.” Another commented, “Stop it. For once, Nadia Khan was right.” A third user wrote, “Nadia ne to phir bhi ‘Koi Hai’ bol diya tha. Even that ‘Koi Hai’ was hard to hear in the actual episode, and I’m shocked how it was heard by Sarbuland standing miles away from Sajal. Where was the logic?” Another fan stated, “What Nadia said wasn’t wrong at all.
