HUM Awards 2015 which were held last night in Dubai were hosted by the Morning Show host and actress Sanam Jung, the actors, director and politician Hamza ali Abbasi, actor and writer Vasay Chaudhry and singer and actor Ahmed Butt. The Awards function was made fun and colorful by the dance performances by various young TV stars.
Sadqay Tumhare was a clear winner at the awards because it got as many as 10 awards in the following categories:
Best Drama Serial (Popular)
Ehtesham Ud Din for Best Director
Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar for Best Writer
Mahira Khan for Best Actor Female (Popular)
Mahira Khan and Adnan Malik for Best Onscreen Couple
Samiya Mumtaz for Best Actor in a Negative Role
Samiya Mumtaz for Most Impactful Character
Adnan Malik for Best New Sensation (Male)
Rehan Sheikh for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male)
Best OST sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
All these categories were the most important categories in the award function. Saba Qamar won the Best Actress award by the jury and the play Bunty I Love You was given the Best Drama Award by the jury.
