Sajal Aly has been on a journey these days as her film What’s Love Got To Do With It has screened on Red Sea Film as well as had a premiere in London. The film has been getting some really positive response from all who have watched and Sajal has enjoyed praises for her role in the film.
Sajal talked to international press and she was asked about her opinion on women in South Asia being pressured by their families for marriage. This is definitely a common practice and Sajal’s character in her film has also portrayed the struggle. Sajal shared her thoughts very openly and had advice for all the women feeling pressure to get married.
Sajal said that women do get pressed to get married and marriage is very important but women should not make life all about marriage only and should think about their own likes, dislikes and life as well.
