In an Instagram post, Waqar Ali wrote, “Dear friends, fans, and well wishers, I have recently been diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. This is a difficult chapter in my life for both me and my family, but I am taking things one day at a time, with faith, courage, and hope in my heart. It is never easy to share news like this, but I feel it is important to speak to all of you who have been a part of my journey and have supported me with so much love over the years. Music has always been my way of connecting with people, and the love you have given me through my work has meant more to me than words can express. Today, I humbly ask you for something deeply personal, please remember me in your prayers. I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I know the power of prayers, the strength of faith, and the comfort of knowing that so many hearts are wishing me well.
