Her debut film as a leading actress was Nikaah, and some of her other notable films include Patti Patni Aur Tawaif, Qasam Paida Karne Wale Ki, and Oonche Log. The former Pakistani actress currently lives in India and Dubai, and her daughter, Zara Khan, is also an artist in Bollywood.

Salma Agha appeared on Jahanzeb Awan’s podcast, where she opened up about moving to India instead of Pakistan.

Replying to the host’s question, “Why did you choose India over Pakistan?” she said, “It is good that you asked this question because I never had Pakistani nationality. I was never a Pakistani citizen because we migrated to the UK. We all have British passports, and my mother and grandmother were both from Amritsar, India. I just worked in Pakistan. It was a memorable time; I had a beautiful time there. I had friends there. We love their technicians, artists, and dramas. We love Pakistani dramas here in India. Art has no boundaries. I don’t have Indian nationality. I have an Indian card and a British passport. We are allowed to live there. India gave us love and respect.” Here is the link to the video:
