Salman Iqbal is the CEO of ARY Network. He is also the owner of Karachi Kings and President of World Memon Foundation. He has achieved a lot in life and the world is familiar with his family. He lost his first child, his eldest daughter Sumaiya Salman at the age of 23. She was a special child and he was broken when she passed away.
Salman Iqbal sat for an interview with Waseem Badami and spoke about his career, family and vision for Pakistan. He also revealed how he took his daughter’s death. He shared that he shifted to London in the 90s just because he knew that his daughter was special when she was born and they were not finding the necessary medical facilities anywhere else. She was the light of his life and they both shared a strong bond.

Salman Iqbal broke into tears when he spoke about his late daughter. He revealed that all he can say is that no father should have to go through this pain. He was in tears as he shared that when his daughter was 1 year old, she was put on a ventilator. He kept waiting for her to wake up despite even doctors giving up hope. She came back from it and lived for 20 more years. Salman Iqbal said that when her final ghusl was done, he was broken as he did not know how to lower her into the grave.
