Samina was born on August 9, 1955, in Lahore to father, Moinuddin Butt, and mother, Almas Butt. She was raised in Karachi. After completing her high school graduation, she attended Government College of Commerce & Economics. Thereafter she started her career as an actress.
Actor Samina Peerzada and her talented husband Usman Peerzada tied the knot on February 14, 1975. They are blessed with two daughters. Besides acting, Peerzada is also a producer and director. He has made his appearance in Punjabi and Urdu films as an actor.
The couple is the proud parents of two daughters Amal Peerzada and Anum Peerzada. It’s been more than 4 decades this couple has been together. They really are a Power Couple, who love the way they fit together.
Samina started her career as an actress in 1982. Since then she has acted in many films like Nazdikiyan, Mukhra, Bazar-e-Husn, Shaadi Mere Shohar Ki, and Bulandi.
Besides acting, she is also a stage performer and has performed in Oslo at The international Ibsen Festival. Some of her notable stage performance with the productions like Ibsen’s A Doll’s House and Raaz-o-Niaz.
