Web series is an entertainment show of different genre broadcast on internet or on YouTube or on other digital platforms like YouTube. Since it is uploaded on web it is known as web series. Like TV serial it is broadcasted in certain number of episodes in one season and in next season it comes with next level of story. In India web series culture raised few years back. In Pakistan our actors and producers started taking web series serious few years back. Some of the most promising Pakistani web series that has hit the digital platforms, like Shameless Proposals, Badshah Begum, Untitled, Jaan e Jahan, Enaaya and Ayesha naming a few.
Time period of each episode of web series is quite shorter as compared to television drama. Number of episodes of web series is also very limited.
Sarah Khan the stunning actress of Pakistan Media Industry who has been a part of many hit dramas. She is currently starring in drama serial Sabaat and nailing the character of Miraal. Sarah has also signed a web series and gave information regarding her new project in latest interview.
“I have signed a web series and we have done 50 percent of the work ” said Sarah.
Sarah further explained:”The story is different than all the work I’ve done before, personality is very different and I am very excited for this project.”
Talking about the cast Sarah Khan said: “Web series in directed by Anjum Shehzad and Bilal Abbas is starring against Sarah Khan.”
“Story is very different from the normal stories, it is all about fantasy. The girl lives in imaginary town, all the people are imaginary” told Sarah Khan about the story.
