Sarwat Gilani has had a great career graph as she did a lot of work on the television including some very strong roles in dramas while she also did some of those run of the mill damsel in distress characters. But lately Sarwat Gilani is experimenting with the characters she picks up are diverse and have a lot to offer.
Sarwat is also doing roles that are bringing her international recognition like Churails, Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam and the recent chart buster Joyland that has been getting a lot of accolades from Cannes to Oscars.
In a recent podcast with Freiha Altaf, Sarwat Gilani revealed that her work in Churails was highly appreciated and she got a message from none other than Karan Johar from across the border who became a fan of the show.
Sarwat revealed that she had met Karan Johar when she was coming back from Rome with husband Fahad Mirza and they had clicked a picture. So when Karan Johar messaged her and talked to her, she almost died. Sarwat then told him that they have met before and she was very happy as Karan was very appreciative of her work.
