Shaam Idrees is also known for his viral feud with Ducky, whom his wife once referred to as a “tiny YouTuber.” Over time, Shaam Idrees has matured as a person and now stays away from unnecessary conflicts.
Recently, Shaam Idrees posted a video after Ducky’s release. In the video, he extended his support to Ducky.
Shaam Idrees said, “I am here to tell the truth. Most of the things on social media are fake — I know this because I did vlogging for two years without a break. When Ducky was arrested, I was told to celebrate it and take revenge, but people forget that a person who has gone through difficult times learns to feel for others. At that time, Ducky’s so-called real friends took hype from the situation but stayed quiet regarding his arrest. Social media friends are only there during good times — I know this because it happened to me too. Ducky’s friends pretended to be sincere but backed off and even started spreading rumours against him; they did nothing good for him. When someone who has wronged you faces karma, you may feel like celebrating, but that is not how Muslims should react. We should feel sad, forgive from the heart, and remember that when we make mistakes, we apologize to Allah — and we should treat others the same way. Those who know me and Ducky also know we had our fights, but we should never celebrate each other’s tough times. Whatever happened to him was wrong, and I commented in his favour. I believe Ducky now understands the reality of social media friendships. I’m hopeful he will be a changed man. I was the first Pakistani YouTuber who reached one million quickly, and I wish he becomes the first Pakistani YouTuber to hit ten million — everyone deserves a second chance.
