Recently, they were guests on Green Entertainment’s Ramzan transmission, hosted by Danish Taimoor and Rabia Anam. During the show, they discussed the struggles they faced as star kids. Momal and Shahzad also spoke about their grounded attitude.
Talking about it, Shahzad Sheikh said, “I think being celebrity’s children had more of negative impacts on us than positive ones because people then expect so much from us as new commers because we came from an acting background. However, if you are a star kid, you can get a platform easily but you can’t learn acting from your parents. In the end, you have to learn through your own struggles. Yes, he advised me to do struggles for a sustainable path instead of an instant fame. He gave me valuable tips for surviving in the industry.”
Momal Sheikh added, “I come from Nawaz family, because I am an actor just because of my husband Nadir. I was offered a sitcom through Nadir’s friend Phoebe Haroon. He pushed me for an audition then I was selected. I told him to talk to my father as well. Previously, it was never in my mind to become an actor because I never thought that I will get a permission.” Here is the link to the video:
