Recently, she has appeared in GMP Shan-e-Suhoor where she revealed about her divorce and ex-husband .
On the question about divorce she said , ” I see my divorce with a different angle , my ex-husband’s name was Waqar and my twelve year beautiful journey with Waqar has given me beautiful kids . I won’t say one person is bad in a situation like divorce , oftentimes things don’t go well between the two people and they have to part ways , same happened with us ”
She further added , ” At the time of divorce I had spoken alot about my relationship which was wrong on my part , maybe I could have gotten settled with him at that time . I feel that I should have stayed quiet , now I do regret about it”
Talking about ex-husband’s death she said , ” After divorce , we both moved on and got married , later on, he got sick with liver and stomach disease which worsened his health and unfortunately he lost his life” ”
She said that she has a very good relationship with her ex mother-in-law , Shaista said , ” My kids spend time with their grandparents and we are still on very good terms, I have three mothers ” .
