Pakistani-Canadian Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinnoy never fails to make us proud. She has already received two Oscars for her documentaries A Girl In The River and Saving Face. The Alfred DuPont-Columbia University Awards this year, gave 14 Awards for documentaries and broadcast digital. Sharmeen has bagged the award for her documentary film ‘Girl In The River: The Price Of Forgiveness’. The documentary was based on the honor killing and urged to raise awareness.
Sharmeen’s latest animated Film ‘3 Bahadur: The revenge of Baba Balam’ has also opened to positive reviews.
