Chinoy talked about what she aims to focus on during the summit in a video message:

“I will be talking about the 80% of women in Pakistan who have faced some sort of violence in their lives. The stories that I will be bringing will be about those women who have decided to stand up, speak out and change the reality in their community. My urgent call to action is that women can no longer wait for a seat to open up on the decision-making table. They need to empower themselves.”

More power to Sharmeen for always empowering the women of Pakistan!

The 8th Annual Women in the World New York Summit will take take place from April 5-7.
