Eyes are doors to your soul is a very famous saying and eyes do much of the work on screen as well. Any actor who can act with their eyes is a magician and they can make the audience fall in love with them. Eyes are also loved and appreciated by the people of the sub-continent as we have countless songs written just about the eyes of the beloved and we are not stopping anytime soon. There are actors internationally who are known for the expressions their eyes bring and the Pakistani entertainment industry is not short of them either. So, here is a list of The Kings of the Eyes- the ones who make you fall for their characters with just an eye movement:
1. Fawad Khan:
Fawad Khan is the biggest star in Pakistan. Many people attribute his breakout show Humsafar’s success to how handsome he looked and his romance with Mahira Khan in the show but it was actually Asher Hussain’s eyes which made people fall for Fawad because Asher Hussain was a toxic character and a border line villain to not stand with his wife when she needed him. He re-created the magic with Zaroon in Zindagi Gulzar Hai and the Indians also fell for the magical eyes of Khoobsurat’s prince.
2. Bilal Abbas Khan:
The expressions in those eyes made you all want Qasim to get Sassi in O Rangreza. He has also shown what shock he can create with his end scene in Bala and when he carries the professor’s janaza in Dunk. Quite recently in Kuch Ankahi, you saw Bilal’s eyes and you knew Salman fell for Aliya when there was no confession.
3. Nauman Ijaz:
He is the biggest contender for the title of The Ultimate King of Eyes. The man can create fear of God in anyone with a flick of an eye. The way he would look in Mere Saeein or Parizaad would actually make the audience feel the fear but he can look all innocent as he did as Maqsood Sahab in Raqeeb Se and fiercely in love as he did in Mrs and Mr Shamim.
4. Wahaj Ali:
You all just fell for Murtasim’s eyes. Evidence is the last episode of his drama Tere Bin still on the trending panel of YouTube. HE has done it before though as Basim in Ishq Jalebi. Wahaj can also look like the most miserable person on planet earth just with his eye expressions like he does in Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha and Ehd e Wafa. He is making waves and Murtasim’s eyes are still the topic of many Tiktoks and posts being created on social media by millions of his fans.
5. Farhan Saeed:
Hamza took a look at Hala and the intensity was felt by the whole audience. Farhan Saeed is being dubbed as the modern king of romance for a reason. He knows he can talk with his eyes and people will listen. Just look at the real romance he brings with his picture with Urwa Hocane.
6. Babar Ali:
Babar Ali is a film star and people all over the country used to admire how handsome he was when he made his debut. But what he should be admired for is the way he can control his eyes. Yes, the man can be a hopeless romantic invoking couple goals in you with a character like Thanvi in Kuch Ankahi or a hard-headed giant who cannot be controlled in Landa Bazaar and you will be msemerized both times. He is an actor who should be used intelligently and so much more can be made out of his acting prowess.

If his name is associated with a project, people will watch it. He is a great director and he has given us big projects like Sadqay Tumharay, Udaari and Yunhi. He is also an actor and like Pakistani actors are cursed to, he plays a father in every drama because he is not 20 years old. But man oh man, he just made people fall in love with the look he gave Barbeena in Kabli Pulao. In a world of dramas with Faysal Quraishi marrying teenagers left and right at the age of 60, we are rooting for Haji Sahab as he has brought the magic. The way he has portrayed guilt, compassion and affection with just his eyes is phenomenal. So, the latest king of the eyes on screen is Haji Sahab, all thanks to Murtasim to go off air and live a happy life with Meerab and Meesam otherwise he would have given a tough competition.
