Talking about her ex-husband, Veena Malik said, “I decided to go for an arranged marriage but now I think that it was just a paper marriage or a contract. Sometimes, when you are rich, you believe that you are enough to fix things even if the person doesn’t have money. You think your money is enough to cater to narcissistic behaviour and psychological tendencies of others but it doesn’t happen and you are shaken by someone you don’t expect. I was already warned by Junaid Jamshed when I chose the right path that , he told me that Allah will further test you. I wish I could tell this to him that it happened”.
She added, “I left the media for a person who shattered me in life, I wanted to do parda and he used to take me in front of the camera for interviews. I left everything for Allah but I realized it was my test, after that I have seen miracles in life, there are many things I can’t talk about, I used to cry on the roads, but my life changed after that. She further added, “I fought for my kids’ custody because my husband took them to Dubai without informing me, I fought that legal battle for three years. I went to Dubai to get their custody. He took the kids to Dubai and when I called him and asked him to send my kids back, he refused to do so. I even paid ransom money for my kids to my ex-husband. I fought a long legal battle and won the case. He is free to meet kids, he does video calls, his arrest warrants are there, he doesn’t bear kids’ expenses”. Here is the link to the video:
Talking about kids’ privacy, she said, “My kids are being taken care of in a great manner. I am a double parent and I have my mom and dad with me as well. My father does pick and drop for my kids. My mother cooks for them. My sister takes care of them and I look after everything. They are the toppers, I don’t want them to be on the social media for a few likes.
