Tabish Hashmi is a famous Pakistani anchor who is currently hosting Geo TV’s popular show Hansna Mana Hai. The show’s clips often go viral and fans of Tabish Hashmi like them, however, there is a percentage of people which don’t like the show format. The show Hansna Mana Hai is based on a conversational format which features double meaning jokes and comic jibes on guests.
A recent video clip from the show Hansna Mana Hai is doing rounds on social media in which the host Tabish showed an old picture to the guest Gohar Mumtaz. In the picture Atif Aslam and Goher Mumtaz were wearing same shirt and posed for a photo. According to the viewers, Tabish’s narration to the picture seemed too inappropriate for television viewers. Fans got angry and objected the content of the show. Fans are of the view that in Has a Mana Hai, Tabish Hashmi utters double meaning jokes and girls clap on his jokes and it happens frequently in the show which makes it uncomfortable to watch with family. One fan said, “Tabish Hashmi has come from Canada, he’s liberal and speaking such language is quite normal for him and now he’s normalizing it in Pakistan”. Another user said, “I don’t know who send their family members to such cheap show”. Many fans said that this show should be banned by Pemra. Fans also criticized channel for not reviewing its content. Fans said that this show can’t be watched with family and it should come with PG 18+ disclaimer.
