Wasim Akram is a legendary Pakistani former cricketer, commentator, and cricket analyst. He got married to Australian national Shaniera Akram in August 2013, and together they have an adorable daughter, Ayla. This year, the couple marked 14 years of togetherness. Pakistanis love Shaniera for being vocal and concerned for Pakistanis. They often call Shaniera their favourite National Bhabhi.

Recently, Wasim Akram appeared on Maliha Rehman’s podcast with his wife, Shaniera Akram. In the podcast, Wasim Akram revealed why Shaniera didn’t join him at Hajj.

Talking about it, Wasim Akram said, “A lot of people were asking me on social media that why didn’t Shaniera go to perform Hajj with me, I think Shaniera’s first step would be Umrah to understand about it and then we will go to Hajj.”

Shaniera Akram also added, “He also needed to go first, I think it would be the last thing for him to be thinking about me when he was focused on Hajj. Although I’m not saying I won’t go with him, I would say, I didn’t want him to distract himself as it was quite a special time for him. Yes, we will go one day in Sha Allah. I think that was his journey and he needed to celebrate it” Wasim Akram also added that it was an amazing experience and it was his birthday gift to him. Here is the link to the video:
