Whatsapp continues to give us a sneak peek of its upcoming features via its beta version. Now, the global messagimg app is testing to redesign Storage Usage section in the latest beta release.
The storage usage has been completely redesigned. The first section of the storage usage has a bar which is very useful to understand the portion of space occupied your media files.
The second section is the ‘review and delete unnecessary files to free up space’.
The last section is the list of chats which are consuming the most storage space on your smartphone.
You have the option to delete media by contact. This will allow you to delete all the media files or specific of the selected contact.
This is one of the many features Whatsapp is testing and it is expected to be rolled out soon. As reported earlier, Whatsapp is also testing an expiring Media option.
