Vivian Dsena is a brilliant Indian television actor who has appeared in numerous hit TV projects that include Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Sirf Tum, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, Agnipareeksha Jeevan Ki: Gangaa. He made headlines in Pakistan in 2023 when he announced embracing Islam publicly. According to the news shared by Indian media, he embraced Islam in 2019 but announced it in 2023. This year, the actor talked about his journey to Islam and the importance of Ramadan in his life.
Vivian Dsena has admitted that the blissful holy month of Ramadan holds a special place in his heart.
He said, “I embraced Islam in Ramadan and that is the reason why Ramadan is very close to my heart. This year also marks my sixth Ramadan and by God’s grace, I have been fasting every year after entering into Islam. Fasting in the month of Ramadan is compulsory for us as it’s one of the main five pillars of Islam, so! I do observe the 30 days of course unless there is an excuse that permits me to break the fast, such as an illness”
The actor said that his fasting journey has been very easy and smooth and he didn’t crave for coffee and water which are his necessities. While sharing his experience, Vivian Dsena said “I can’t deny I was very worried at the beginning on keeping the fast, especially because water & coffee are necessities for me; even my family and friends keep wondering how I am managing to stay without water or caffeine for 13 or 14 hours. God has been kind so far, my fasting journey has been decently smooth”
He further said that he loves all kinds of cuisines especially the home cooked food & sweets. He said that he is blessed to have a caring family and wife who make every day of Ramadan a food festival.
