Send your location to a contact:

Whatsapp makes it easy to share photos, videos and documents with our loved ones.But, did you know, you can also share your location with your contacts?

Sometimes, it can be really difficult trying to explain your location to your friends. Well, you can do it on the tip of your fingers with whatsapp. Your friends can track your live location for the duration you choose.

iOS: Chat > Specific chat > Tap on “+” to the left of the message box > Location > Share Live Location > Select time frame.

Android: Chat > Specific chat > Tap on the paperclip to the right of the message box > Location > Share Live Location > Select time frame.

Quickly delete all photos, GIFs, videos, messages or stickers from a certain chat 

Sometimes, it is possible that you want to delete all the photos, GIFs, videos, messages or stickers from a certain chat or anyone of these. For example, you just want to keep photos of a specific chat in it and delete all the messages.

There is a simple method to do so.

iOS & Android: Settings > Data and Storage Usage > Storage Usage > Select Contact > Manage > Tick the boxes next to what you want to clear, such as Videos or Voice Messages > Confirm Clear.

we always want to try out new things in our lives. You will see people around you trying out different font style on their phones. Well, you can do it on your whatsapp too, if you have gotten bored of the same font style on the messaging app.

You can change your font style to bold or italic.

For bold messages, put * before and after your message.

To italicize your message, place an underscore on both sides of the text. For example, type Hello as _Hello_ and your text will be italicized.

To strikethrough your message, place a tilde on both sides of the text. For example, ~Hello~.

To monospace your message, place three backticks on both sides of the text. For example, “`text“`.

Require Face ID or Touch ID to unlock WhatsApp
