Hania Aamir, the young beauty who charmed us with her role in Janaan always has something interesting to say. This time around, the diva has given an interview to Images and we bring you the most interesting bits of it.
She talked about fame, her work in the showbiz and her upcoming projects.
When asked about her rising fame, she had to say:
“I feel good about what I’m doing, but I don’t think it’s hit me that way. People keep telling me I’m the new sensation, but it hasn’t changed me as a person. At times I think I don’t deserve it, I didn’t know I had it in me until I watched myself on television. But I’ve probably become more disciplined and particular.”
We must say that we are in love with Hania’s humility.
When the interviewer called her a star, she responded by saying:
“I don’t think I am one,”. How adorable is her humble aura!
Upon being asked about working with more experienced and senior actors like Armeena Khan and Ali Rehman, she had to say:
“I hardly get intimidated by anyone; I just do my own thing, so I was friendlier with the production team then my co-stars. In my mind, I don’t care who’s a star or who’s not.”
“When you’re new, you don’t know the politics and the ugly faces of the people you work with, so you do everything very openly,” added Hania.
We surely think that Hania is one of the wise ones.
While talking about the growing intolerance in our society and on how to remain a balanced persona, Hania made some interesting observations and said:
“I was away from home for six month shooting in Karachi and at one of the sets, my co-stars were screaming and I felt like I was slowly becoming like them. I became frustrated and it all got to me,There was this one time when somebody was repeatedly calling me and I screamed at them, but later I apologized to the director, because I’m not that person who would make unreasonable demands.”
When the topic of her debut role in the TV drama Titli came up, she said:
“Television is very time consuming, but if the content is good I wouldn’t want to limit myself. I like to do films, but I feel I can reach a lot more people with TV. I want to do roles that people understand and I connect with. I am not scared of doing what I want to do,”
The diva just hasn’t shot for two serials but also has a leading role in the upcoming movie Parwaaz Hai Junoon – a MD Productions and Pakistani Air Force joint-venture alongside Hamza Ali Abbasi and debutante Ahad Raza Mir.
And we are more than sure, that, she’ll do great justice to her role in her second film.
