The logo made by Saba Zama, a student of NUST University, for Pakistan’s 70th Independence was highly criticised for its simple and disproportional design. It was surprising for several people that this logo was selected in the Independence Celebration logo competition which had more than 400 entries. Many believed that even an amateur designer could do a better job than this!

And today we bring further disappointing news regarding this logo. A very similar logo is found on the internet. It was posted by Shutterstock:
The logo designer was paid a handsome sum of Rs.500,000 and to find that it wasn’t original work dampens the look of the chosen logo even further.
