Umer Sharif a legendary comedian, actor, director, producer, and writer in Pakistan’s entertainment industry passed away after a prolonged illness on 2nd October 2021. He was regarded as one of the greatest comedians in the sub-continent. He started his showbiz career in Karachi as a stage performer at the age of 14. One of his extremely popular comedy stage plays were Bakra Qistoon Pe and Buddha Ghar Pe Hai.
After the demise of legendry comedian Umer Sharif in Germany his son has revealed his last wish in a press conference. He said, “His funeral will be held in Karachi, and arrangements to bring my father’s dead body are being made. We have requested the Sindh government for the burial of Umer Sharif in the premises of Abdulah shah Ghazi’s Shrine. It was my father’s wish and we have requested the government and hopefully, he will be buried there according to his wish”.
