The Pakistani cricket team is considered weaker compared to India, and the Indian media has been mocking Pakistani players on various national TV channels. Shahid Afridi has also been appearing on cricket analysis shows, where he responded to the unprofessional behavior of the Indian media.
On Samaa TV’s sports show, hosted by Sawera Pasha, Shahid Afridi criticized the mentality of Indian media anchors.
Talking about it, Shahid Afridi said, “Indian media iscquite strange—totally unprofessional—making weird requests to Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and other players to call out Pakistan. I call them “Cartoon Network” because they are still under the influence of Bollywood. Cricket should stay away from politics; people genuinely love sports worldwide. Recently, what they did with the World XI Legends made a mockery of them internationally.
