The filmmaker director and producer duo, Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza recently announced two films for the next year i.e. Quaid E Azam Zindabad with Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan and Fatman with Ahmed Ali Butt in the lead.
Although speculations were ripe, it was only yesterday that Ahmed Ali Butt made his official announcement for playing the lead in Fatman.
Taking to his Instagram, Ahmed Ali Butt wrote, “AlhumdulilAllah it’s official. My next film and my first as a lead with these crazy people Nabeel Qureshi Fizza Ali Meerza Filmwala Pictures FATMAN. Looking forward to make a great film with these great creative filmmakers and hope you’ll all love it as much as I love the script… Inshallah see you next year.”
Fatman will address the issue of bodyshaming in the society. According to Something Haute, Ahmed Ali Butt stated that the script is what attracted him most about the film.
“We may think of superheroes as over macho men solving world problems with their brute force but Fatman will reveal how there’s a superhero in all of us. Appearances can be deceiving and men and women should not be judged, let alone bullied, because of their looks,” Nabeel Qureshi had earlier shared with Something Haute.
According to news, Fatman will go on the floors once shoot for Quaid E Azam Zindabad is complete. The film will be scheduled to release in the last quarter of 2020.
