Arjumand Rahim is a Pakistani television actress, director, and producer. She has been seen in different television serials on different channels. She is best known for her character “Pari” in Suno Chanda 2. Arjumand started her career as an actress in 1995 and appeared in a telefilm Quratulain alongside Aijaz Aslam and Hasan. Later in 2004, she started acting in many serials. In 2006 she opened her own production house “Art RepuWik”. She produced Shahrukh Khan Ki Maut in 2005 and also produced Hotel for TV One Global.
Arjumand Rahim has recently appeared in “Gupshup with Fuchsia” hosted by Rabia Mughni and streamed on Fuchsia Magazine’s official youtube channel.
In the show, Arjumand shared her life experiences from the time she spent in India. She said, ” I went to India for a dance course and after that did an acting course because I wanted to understand more about acting. I was about to come back to Pakistan but I really wanted to live in India for a while that became another reason for staying in India for 6 more months.”
She further added, “After coming back from India I went to New York. After coming back from New York I started directing and did a couple of projects as a director and took a break from direction and resumed acting.”
Sharing the memories from India she said, “Director Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashaf were my friends and we used to have tea together every day in the evening and these celebrities were not so famous at that time.”
Arjumand recalled a memory with Salman khan saying, ” I once had dinner at Salman Khan’s place and he was very hospitable. I was not a fan of Salman Khan but he won my heart. He was very kind, very warm and gave so much respect, and insisted to have dinner. Katrina Kaif was also there because they were dating at that time.”
Arjumand said,” Jacky Shroff helped me a lot while I was living in Delhi, he helped me find an apartment at a really nice place and was so much concerned about my residence because I was living alone in Dehli.”
