Col (Retd) Qasim Shah is a well-known face in Pakistan who rose to prominence through his iconic ISPR dramas Sunehray Din and Alpha Bravo Charlie. He was a PMA cadet when he was offered the role in Sunehray Din. His charming personality was admired by fans and since then he is known as captain Gulsher. Qasim Shah served in the Pakistan Army for more than 25 years and retired as a Colonel a few years ago. Nowadays, he is enjoying his retired life with family and friends.

Recently, Qasim Shah appeared on the show Zabardast, hosted by Wasi Shah. During the show, he revealed details about his relationship with Junaid Jamshed and shared how the singer’s sudden death affected him.



Talking about it, Qasim Shah said, “Junaid Jamshed’s martyrdom was such an incident that affected me deeply. I was in disbelief hearing his death news. I was like, ‘How has this happened?’ I used to be in contact with him. We shared a great bond. We used to talk to each other, and we often met. He would call me and come to meet me. We also had a plan to launch a brand together, which unfortunately did not happen. People came to offer their condolences to me because they knew about our friendship. Besides this, there was a police officer, Sifwat Ghayur, whose martyrdom also grieved me. ” Here is the link to the video:
