Mahira Khan’s first production Baarwan Khiladi stars Danyal Zafar and Shahveer Jafry in the leading roles. It’s a web series based on the passion of cricket. Danyal Zafar recently talked about his character in the series and also talked about Mahira’s involvement in the project.
“The boy of Baarwan Khiladi is a boy of Lahore streets and a Punjabi boy and he gets a chance to play club-level cricket which was then snatched by him because of politics and it’s about how he stands up for himself, the struggles he has to face through everything. It’s a journey about friendship and love, he has a love interest. It’s all about the lessons learned throughout the journey” said Danyal Zafar
Talking about Mahira, Danyal shared: “Mahira was super passionate about the project. Her passion inspired me, inspired us all she was involved in every scene. She’d come on set give tips to us on how to get involved in the script”
