Emmad Irfani was invited as a guest in Rewind With Samina Peerzada. In that show he talked about depression and also shared how he over came it.
Emmad Irfani shared that how some bad teachers destroyed his mental health. He always wanted to be a cricketer and a footballer but his teachers in Pindi made him realize that he is a loser and can’t achieve anything in life.
Emmad shared that while he was successfully headed to be a part of Pakistan junior cricket team he got a stress fracture in his ankle and had to leave cricket because doctor suggested him 2 years bed rest. At that time he started thinking that all those who demotivated him were right. It destroyed his self esteem and confidence.
“I couldn’t look people in the eye, I couldn’t speak loudly and clearly, I had a lisp also, I used to have speech impediment and for an actor, I over came all these thing” said Emmad Irfani.
Emmad’s siblings were good at studies he had inferiority complex that why he isn’t like his siblings. This emotional disorder took him towards sinus.
