I also sang with singers like Rahim Shah as well, but the feeling I get after reciting Kalam is something I never experienced as a singer. My Naats went viral, and people loved my Kalams. In Punjabi, we often say, ‘Pehe Wasool Ho Gai’—we have gotten the fruits of our hard work. Basically, I feel happiness when I see that my Kalams have been changing people’s lives. Allah is so merciful; we can’t even imagine His blessings. I was shivering when I met Maulana Tariq Jamil because I couldn’t recall any of my good deeds.
