Tabish Hashmi is a renowned Pakistani comedy host who rose to fame through Nashpati Prime’s show To Be Honest. He also performed as a stand-up comedian in Karachi. Tabish spent most of his time in Canada, where he worked as a logistics manager. In 2023, Tabish Hashmi joined Geo TV and has been successfully hosting the show Hansna Mana Hai. Within a short period, he has built a strong social media following, with most of his fans coming from Gen Z, despite the show’s loose-talk format. Replying to a question about joining politics, Tabish Hashmi said, “Iqrar ul Hassan has left his job after 21 years of hosting; I will also leave after 21 years. I have only spent 5 years in this job, and I have to earn as well. The spirit of serving the public looks good when your pockets are full. I can’t serve the community without money. You can’t be honest when you have nothing to eat; principles are only tested when you are broke. Let my pockets be filled first.
