International Women’s day is observed & celebrated every year on the 8th of March. On 8th of March 2022, the day was commemorated by the women across the world. The main reason of Women’s day is to honor the courage and resilience of women, the day also aims to celebrate the women as the fundamental pillar and the strength of society. All the women and housewives are praised and embraced on this day.
Well, Aurat March is also being organized on this special day from last few years. A certain people from the society gather on roads and public take part in Aurat March. The reason to take part in Aurat March is to raise voice for the rights of women who can’t speak for them, the opinion of the group is clear and it is about women empowerment, to get their due rights and liberty.
Not everyone supports Aurat March, a few people believe that the working women and the mothers are real heroines of the society. They think that the whole idea of women empowerment is being overshadowed by the Marches and Movements. Public mostly think that real empowerment is educated and serving ladies in homes and professional lives, those women include mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, doctors, engineers, teachers, pilots, athletes, and scientists.
