Asians are obsessed with fair skin tone and they can do anything to change their skin tone from dark to fair. Their obsession with fair skin tone has benefitted many companies and there are so many companies out there who produce fairness products.
Many Pakistani actresses and actors have been featured in whitening cream advertisements without a second thought. Mehwish Hayat, Mawra Hocane, Zara Noor Abbas, Sanam Jung, Fawad Khan, Sajal Aly, Aiman Khan, Syra Yousuf and many others have been part of fairness cream advertisements.

However, there are some actresses who have refused to work in anything related to whitening products. Iqra Aziz is one of those actresses who has always stood against whitening products.
Since the beginning, she received many offers but she straight away rejected all of them.
Yasir Hussain in his social media post appreciated Iqra Aziz for standing against whitening products.
In her latest interview in Jashan-e-Cricket, Iqra Aziz shared the reason not endorsing whitening products.
She said, “I am not against my fellow actors/actresses who do such work but personally it’s my decision and I don’t feel right about it.”
“As a public figure if I am inspiring young girls and ladies by my strong characters in dramas then I don’t want to convince them that if they are white they will get the job and their parents will feel proud becaus of their skin tone,” Iqra Aziz added.
