Irrfan Khan was born on 7 January 1966 in Rajistan, in a Muslim Pathan family. Irrfan Khan was son of Sahabzade Yaseen Ali Khan and Sayeeda Begum. Irrfan Khan’s father used to run a tire business. Irrfan Khan’s mother died 4 day before him but he couldn’t attend her funeral because of COVID-19 Lock down. He was missing his mother while he breathed his last.

Irrfan Khan has 3 siblings; 2 brothers and a sister. His brother’s names are Imran Khan and Salman Khan and his sister’s name is Rukhsana Begum.
Irrfan Khan’s wife and sons:
In 1995 Irrfan Khan married his fellow writer and and NSD graduate Sutapa Sikdar. He was the father of two sons Babil Khan and Ayan Khan.
