Popular Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 53, reported by Hindustan Times. The actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital due to a colon infection.

This news was shared by Indian filmmaker Shoojit Sircar who is a great friend of him. He wrote, “My dear friend Irrfaan. You fought and fought and fought. He was admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital. He was taken to hospital in emergency as his health deteriorated. He was admitted in ICU and his wife and two sons were with him.
