Jia Ali is a renowned Pakistani former TV and film actress and model who made her acting debut with the hit Pakistani film Deewane Tere Piyar Kay alongside Moammar Rana. She is also known for her dramas like Band Khirkyon Kay Peechay, Hum Tehray Gunahgaar, Pukaar, Kabhi Kabhi Pyar Mein, Meer Abroo, and others. Some of her other notable film appearances include Ghar Kab Aao Gay, Love Mein Ghum, and Saya-e-Khuda-e-Zuljalal. Jia left showbiz at the peak of her career. In 2021, she got married to businessman Imran Idrees, and it has been five years since their marriage.
Jia Ali recently appeared on Samaa TV’s Punjabi podcast hosted by Ukasha Gul. During the podcast, she opened up about her experience working with ace Pakistani TV and film star Humayun Saeed.
While responding to the question, “Which actor would you never work with?”, Jia Ali said, “I think Humayun Saeed is the one actor I would not want to work with. Although, he is a big actor and producer, and a great human being as well, but somehow I feel uncomfortable around him so I will not work with him.” She further added that she has no objection to playing the role of Mahira Khan’s mother if offered, as she has no insecurities regarding age.
