Malala Yousafzai was an education activist in her hometown when she rose to international fame after Taliban made an assassination attempt on her life. She was flown to UK where she was treated and she has since then continued her work from there. Malala Yousafzai is also the youngest Nobel Laureate in the world after she received the Nobel Peace Prize. She is also the second Nobel laureate from Pakistan after Dr Abdus Salam.
Malala surprised everyone when she suddenly announced her marriage to husband Asser Malik. The couple married in a simple yet beautiful ceremony and shared the pictures on their social media.
Asser Malik since day one has been by Malala’s side and we often see the young couple visiting different places for Malala’s work. She is in Pakistan these days with her family and talked to Dawn about her life after marriage.
Malala said that she was lucky to find Asser who is a great friend to her and an amazing partner. She also said that he always makes her laugh and supports her in her projects. She added that marrying him has changed life as she is now more relaxed.
