With numerous movies being produced nowadays, it has become a bit difficult to decide which one will end up doing well. Hence, we choose them carefully but since the Sange Marmar star Mikaal Zulfiqar announced his upcoming movies Ae Dil Meray Chal Ray and we couldn’t contain our happiness and it is a venture which surely managed to get us really excited.
The movie stars Mikaal Zulfiqar along with Sarah Sarfaraz and Sana Sarfaraz in lead roles. It is written and concieved by Salam Haider and Awais Hussain. Produced by Mikaal himself and along with Awais Hussain and Omer Khalid Anwar, is set to go on floors soon in Lahore and Islamabad. In an interview with Images, the leads revealed more about their upcoming flick.
“It’s a feel-good romantic comedy, a family entertainment film. I play the role of a supermodel; there’s lots of different characters so there’s something for everyone,” shares Mikaal.
Talking to Images, Sara Sarfaraz reveals details about her role in the upcoming film, “It’s a about a career-oriented girl who also has slightly disturbed family and about how her perception of things changes when she gets to know the importance of family.”
Her sister, Sana also added what her character will be like: “I play the role of this very modern, outspoken girl from a rich family. Sara and I are playing sisters in the movie also so I’m really excited about the project, working with her will be great because she’s my support system so I couldn’t have asked for a better debut project.”
Mikaal also revealed that there are a few situational songs in the movie as well as a dance number or two but no item number. The movie is expected to release next year.
