Naeema Butt is a popular Pakistani actress who gained recognition through her negative character in Kabhi Main To Kabhi Tum, where she played a rich brat named Rubab. Her accent and portrayal gained significant popularity. Previously, she appeared in the drama series Ehd-e-Wafa, and nowadays, fans are praising her performance in the drama series Nashtar. Besides these, she has worked on multiple other projects that were not as popular.
Recently, Naeema Butt posted a video on social media in which she taunted Pakistani celebrities who flaunt their status on New York Times Square and pretend as if they have been honorarily featured as international figures.
Talking about it, Naeema Butt said, ”Hi! I just wanted to share something. Did you know that those screens in New York’s Times Square are actually paid advertisements? When people say, ‘Oh, this film made it to Times Square!’ or ‘This song made it to Times Square!’—all of that is paid for and run by the artists themselves. Honey, always dream big—dream really big! Dream that you get out of your delusions and accept the truth.” Watch here:
A few days ago, ARY Digital ran an advertisement for ARY Plus on a Times Square billboard, featuring hit dramas like Meray Paas Tum Ho, Sher, and others. Furthermore, singers like Hasan Raheem and Aima Baig have previously shared paid advertisements on Times Square. Yumna Zaidi also ran a paid advertisement on Times Square to celebrate her birthday.
Most of the social media users are agreeing with Naeema Butt and appreciating her for speaking the truth while some are saying that she seems drunk or trying to copy Hira Mani. To which Naima responded to the questions saying she is pretty much in her senses. Read the comments.
