In a recent episode, she invited Angeline Malik, Sharmeen Ali, Mahrosh, and Hina Chaudhary to discuss upgrading one’s lifestyle through fitness and self-care. Nida also added to the topic, sharing her perspective on societal views regarding women going to the gym.

Talking about it, Nida Yasir said, “You know why women aren’t allowed to go to the gyms? It isn’t because men are there because every gym now offers separate timings for women, and there are ladies’ gyms too, like I go to a ladies’ gym. The real reason behind not allowing women to hit the gym is that if they go, they meet other women who will change their mindset. They will get new friends who will make them independent and empowered. It will upgrade them. That’s the mindset.” Watch here:
She further added that many women who aren’t allowed to go to the gym opt for activities like online classes:
She also said, “Many people are still in denial about how gyms have changed the lifestyle of people, they often say that there were no gyms back in the old days, but women were active and smart. I want to tell them that back in older times, women used to do household chores by themselves, and there was no concept of house help. Now, the lower class has house help, and people don’t go to do grocery shopping by foot; the activity has been reduced. Watch here:
