Pakistani artists from yesteryear have gone through some very bad conditions in their time after leaving the industry. Many senior artists could not get work and did not have money for even medicines in their last years. Moreover, we have also seen many legends getting ignored and then posthumously being awarded by the State when they were not even there to enjoy the moment of acknowledgement.

Haseeb Pasha aka Hamoon Jadugar from Ainak Wala Jin has also gone through this. After giving a huge hit on television and influencing kids through his fabulous performance, he has kept at educating the masses and children through his live shows. Talking about his son, Mufti Muneeb Ur Rehman said, “I had the only son, Zia Ur Rehman, who suffered from cancer at a young age. If the tumor is exposed early, it is cureable but if the tumor is inside the body, it blocks the whole system till the diagnoses. My son was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the third or fourth stage. We got his treatment done, He had 12 sessions of chemotherapy, later on, the cancer re-occurred in his body and at that time it was incurable. Drama serial Tere Bin has become a phenomenal hit of 2023. The drama is getting huge success. The serial is providing enough intense sequences which are always filled with suspense and surprises and rightly target and hit the minds of viewers. Well, Tere Bin fans were desperately waiting for episode 47 because of the much awaited scene of Meerab and Murtasim’s marriage consummation. The Tere Bin team also faced severe public backlash on intense promos which clearly hinted at the marital rape.

The anger and the agitation forced the team to edit the scenes in the drama. Well, they removed Haya and Meerab’s scene in which Haya dictated Meerab to leave the house. They showed the consummation of marriage as consensual between the two. The team used voice note of Yumna Zaidi in the episode to save the drama. Meerab left Murtasim’s house afterwards.

Fans are saying that the team has tried to save the face by editing the scenes. A fans said that they have surely saved Murtasim’s character but they ruined the character of Meerab. Fans are saying that it’s Yumna Zaidi who has come to save the whole part of the episode. Fans are also saying that they trusted Yumna and Wahaj who have put an effort to save the story of Meerab and Murtasim. A fan wrote, “Tere Bin makers have definitely edited the story/ added audio after backlash. There’s no way consensual sex makes you regret especially when writer confirmed it some days back”. Many fans said that the poor changes are evident in the drama and they tried to save the sinking ship after adding the voice notes of the actors. Many fans are still angry at the writer and director for filming the forced consummation scenes for the character like Murtasim .
