Shaan Shahid and Sara Loren are two celebrated Pakistani superstars who are currently garnering praise for their hit Punjabi film Bhullah, which has been successfully running in cinemas. The film also stars Naeema Butt and Saleem Sheikh in pivotal roles. Both stars actively promoted their film during the Eid days.

Recently, Shaan Shahid and Sara Loren appeared as guests on Samaa TV’s Eid special Gup Shab episode, hosted by Vasay Chaudhary, where they shared contrasting views about working in India.

Talking about it, Shaan Shahid said, “In Pakistan, everything that has been given importance has flourished or developed. I was hinting at this time when Pakistan and India will eventually have a bad patch and it will create hurdles for our artists. I had always been saying this to the actors to stop going to India. By saying this, I didn’t mean to impose my opinion on them. It’s my decision not to work in India. In fact, I have been deeply discussing its pros and cons—their humiliation and hate to our actors. They won’t give the same respect that Pakistani actors get in Pakistan. It is my opinion not to work in some other’s reign where you are not respected.'” Here is the link to the video:

On the other hand, Sara Loren disagreed, stating that working in Indian films like Kajrarey and Murder 3 helps an actor grow individually and gain valuable exposure. In response, Shaan Shahid reiterated that he was only sharing his perspective and respected differing opinions.
Shaan Shahid is receiving a mixed response over his opinion regarding working in India. Many Pakistanis are praising his patriotism and decision to refrain from working there, appreciating his stance and principles. However, others are criticizing him, saying India gives more respect to artists and that he is a stubborn actor for holding such views.
